Meridian Banquets Late Summer Wedding

This past February I received a phone call from Casey inquiring about photographing his wedding. I rarely receive phone calls.. well, that’s not true - I receive numerous phone calls, but 99% of them are robo calls or telemarketers. Typically people send me a message or email so it took me by surprise when Casey called me and I’m so glad he did. I then met Casey and Carrie later that day and the rest is history. After meeting the both of them, I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding because they are exactly what I look for in a couple - genuine, kind, and truly love one another. I was excited to capture their wedding because I knew it was going to be beautiful and I was right. On Saturday, September 7th 2019, Carrie and Casey became Mr. and Mrs. Young. It was such an honor to be the one to document their special day.

Getting Ready
Ceremony
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove.
Post Ceremony Photo Op
After the ceremony, we went to the Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg to take wedding party pictures.
Reception
The reception was held at Meridian Banquets in Rolling Meadows. This venue is stunning and the room looked amazing! After the grand intros, Carrie and Casey cut their cake and then we had speeches, which were all heartfelt and entertaining. Dinner followed and then we had the first dances.
Open Dance Floor
As soon as the dance floor opened up, it filled with Carrie and Casey’s guests and stayed that way for the entire night. What a fun group of people!

A big thanks to Carrie and Casey and all of their friends and family! It was such a fun wedding to shoot and everybody was so kind.
